The Thrasher

The Thrasher is Richmond Audubon Society's bimonthly newsletter published since 1973. 

It is currently distributed online in PDF format. Archives are available back to 2006.

Tell us what RAS activities you enjoy including field trips, meetings,  workdays, auction, projects and more. We often have room for additional stories and information so feel free to submit articles and photos for  consideration. 

The  Thrasher is issued 6 times a year. If you’d like to submit an article, it must be sent no later than the 10th of the month before each issue. 

Deadlines for each issue:

• December 10th for Jan/Feb issue
• February 10th for Mar/Apr issue
• April 10th for May/Jun issue
• June 10th for Jul/Aug issue
• August 10th for Sep/Oct issue
• October 10th for Nov/Dec issue
